Well it is that time of year again, Christmas is fast approaching. I have put together some fab and unusual things to get for Her. Whether that is your Mum, Sister, best friend or other half there is something for everyone here.
1.Tarot Slut- Tarot Reading
A Tarot reading something that bit different and unusual for you. Kerry kindly offered me a complimentary reading and I must say I was surprised with how accurate she was and much of the reading rung true. I was really impressed with my reading and although isn't for everyone I would certainly recommend it.
2.STM Bags Grace Deluxe Sleeve for 15-Inch Laptop - Coral/Dove
Perfect for a woman on the go the STM Grace Deluxe bag is perfect for transporting a small laptop or a tablet along with any stationary or bits and pieces that may be needed. I have been trying out the bag for a few weeks now and love the colours and the quality of the bag.
3. Jamie Oliver's Christmas Cookbook
I picked this up recently and I just love all the recipes in it. So many will be perfect not just for Christmas day but the whole festive period. I think this will be a great gift to share around the family so that everyone can chip in with cooking a recipe. I cannot wait to give some a try.
4.Not on the High Street Rose Gold Locket
James bought me this locket for my birthday last year and I am still in love with it. It can be personalised so perfect to give to a mum from the kids or from her partner. I love the rose gold colour too and it is now my favourite colour of gold.
5. Tearoute
For the tea lover a nice flavoured tea from Tearoute is just perfect. I have tried a couple of their flavours, Red Square and Four Red Berries, and they were delicious. I am a huge flavoured tea fan and these were just fantastic. I know my sister in law will just love some Tearoute tea in her stocking on Christmas morning. I have also included a recipe below which uses the Red Square to make a Cosmopolitan, a yummy spiked alternative to a cup of tea.
Recipe: Cranberry Tea Cosmopolitan
Ingredients
(To create a mixer for approx. 20 servings)
1 litre cold water
8 rounded tsp Red Square tea
Orange liqueur (Cointreau or triple Sec)
Vodka
Fresh lime juice
Orange peel (garnish)
Method
1. Fill a 1-litre jug with cold water and infuse 8 rounded teaspoons of Red Square tea
2. Leave to brew overnight in the fridge, then drain
3. Fill a shaker with ice
4. For one serving, use the tea infusion as a mixer (45 ml per serving), and add it to the shaker together with 10 ml orange liqueur, 35 ml vodka and the juice of half a lime
5. Shake until cold, then strain into a long glass
6. Garnish with a twist of orange peel
