Setting Myself A Challenge

Lately I have been feeling unmotivated and I most definitely need a massive kick up the bum to get stuff done, whether that is around the house, my workouts or with the blog. So I have decided to set myself some monthly challenges from now until New Year. Hopefully these will, after a month start to be come habits that I can incorporate into daily life so that I can be a more productive person and hopefully a better Mum to Ailsa. So the challenges are as follows.


September- Stick to a cleaning schedule

I am going to write up a list of daily, weekly and monthly chores to help James and I stay on top of the house work and allows us more free time at weekends and not worrying about the hoovering or what jobs there are to do.

October- Weekly meal planning and sticking to it

My aim is to come up with a master list of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner to make meal planning a bit easier for James and I. We also need to be better at sticking to our meal plan although we do for the most part it might be easier if we had a few pre-prepared meals in the freezer for those nights we can't be bothered cooking and hopefully will encourage us to try a few new recipes too,

November- Stick to a fitness plan

I was so good at working out for a while and then all 3 of us got ill and we just never got back into working out of an evening. Whilst I still do an awful lot of walking I have stopped with my toning workouts and have noticed a diffrence in how I feel and also in my muscle tone and strength. We are heading away for Christmas this year and no doubt there will be an awful lot of food and wine so I expect I will pop on a few pounds but if I am in a better routine with working out hopefully I can stick to it whilst we are away and the weight gain won't be quite as much.

December-Blogmas

Blogmas is writing a new blog post everyday from the 1st to the 24th of December,, I seen this around last year and have been thinking of taking part this year. I have started a list of ideas already- I love Christmas- so I am excited to take part and have a new blog post published every day in the run up to Christmas.

If these 4 challenges are successful, this is something I plan to continue into the new year. It would be lovely to have you all join me.
