Week 2 of the Tone It Up Bikini Series is almost at a close and it didn't start off too well. Friday to Monday we had my In-Laws visiting so we ate out quite a few times. I tried to go with better options but I did indulge quite a fair bit and didn't work out at all. I started off Tuesday with an optimistic mind. It was another day and another fresh start. After a Mummy/Daughter photoshoot in the morning I headed home, got myself and Ailsa changed and headed to the park to meet some other Mums for some Yoga led by my friend Annie. It was so much fun and perfect sunny weather. I got home and worked out whilst Ailsa napped and also went for a lovely after dinner walk with James and Ailsa a perfect way to wind down our day. Wedensday and Thursday however have been a bit of a nightmare with Ailsa just refusing to go down at night giving me no time in the evening to workout and I am so very tired by the time we get her to sleep that I am ready for bed myself.
This week I have been using the meal plan as more of a guide rather than follow it to the letter and I think that is the way I will be using it from now on. The recipes are fab and and enjoyable for all of us but it's not always going to work for us as a family. I am making better choices overall though and ensuring I eat healthy nutritious foods so it has had some impact in my overall views of eating healthy which is a good thing. The Workouts
The workouts I have been trying to get in when I can, It's been difficult trying to get them in after Ailsa has gone to bed as she hasn't been going down till 9pm at the moment. So this weekend we will be getting back into routine so I can have some me time in the evenings to get my workout in, as I usually try to blog whilst she naps, but may have to swap things around. If she is awake and I am trying to work out she climbs all over me and I don't feel it's safe at the moment incase she gets in the way and I end up kicking her or something. Overall Feelings
This week could have gone so much better but I am going to learn from it. I enjoy working out and I know I need to try and make the time for it and just get it in. I am not overly worried about my eating as it is naturally falling into place and I know I have already lost weight this year, I am just more concerned with toning up.
