My Non Negotiables

I have been tagged by Chantal from Milk and Nappies to share my Non Negotiables list. Things that make me happy that I won't compromise on.

Eating Healthily and Keeping Fit (with the occasional treat of course)

Now as much as I love Pizza, McDonalds and other unhealthy things they make me feel a bit yucky after I eat them, bloated and just a bit meh. When I eat healthy and do some light exercise I feel so much better for it and when I feel better I am happier. Of course I will still be eating the occasional treats. No doubt about it! But I need to keep myself on track and keep eating nutritious foods so I feel at the top of my game!

Make More Time for Me

I think most if not all Mums don't take enough time out for themselves. We are all busy working, looking after our little ones, keeping a house clean and maybe cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Before Ailsa I used to have a relaxing bath most Sunday's whilst watching YouTube videos on my Ipad, now my bath is full of bath toys and I hear a constant hum of "mumma, mumma" whilst taking a quick bath or shower. I think now is the time to take those relaxing baths when I can, maybe after Ailsa has gone to bed or even on a  Saturday afternoon if she is playing with her Daddy. I just need to get them in and hopefully get more than 5 minutes before the winging starts. Hopefully I will get some time to catch up on YouTube or read a book.

Get Back into Make-up

Not so long ago make-up was a huge passion of mine and how I got into reading Blogs and watching Vlogs. Since Ailsa came along I have hardly any time to practise my skills or even bother with make-up some days. I am so out of practise now that my eye-liner work is shoddy and I look like I have black eyes once I am done some days with Ailsa trying to climb up my legs to see what I am doing. So this is something I am going to work on especially at weekends when Daddy is home and we are going somewhere nice, or have a little practise whilst Ailsa naps. I have so many nice products that I don't get the chance to use so I will be getting them out and popping them on more.

Make Time for Blogging

I thoroughly enjoy this hobby of mine and it is something that I want to take more seriously. I really struggle some days with juggling my time and getting in the right mood to write up a post. I feel the need to organise my time more and make sure I fit in some blogging time everyday, even if it is a quick half hour to draft a blog post or edit some photos, at least I will be half way there to getting a post out live.

So there you have it my non negotiables list.  I nominate Mrs Lighty from All Things Spliced,  Abi from Something About Baby and Hannah from The Diary of an Ordinary Mum
