A few weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely people at Beets BLU and asked if I would like to try their Bluetooth KeyFinder. I jumped at the chance now that Ailsa is at an age where she can find things- like my keys- and hide them somewhere that I cannot for the life of me find. So a product like this was sure to come in handy.
The KeyFinder works via Bluetooth using the PaperTag app on your phone. When you first get the KeyFinder all you need to do is insert the battery and sync with your phone (all explained in the instructions which come with the KeyFinder) then attach to your keys or anything else you need to find on a regular basis such as your purse and off you go.
I have been using the KeyFinder for the last week and I cannot tell you just how much time it has saved me from looking for my keys when trying to run out the door. All I need to do is open the app on my phone hit the button and the alarm from the KeyFinder sounds allowing me to locate my keys super quick.
The only downside to the KeyFinder is that if you turn the Bluetooth off on your phone you need to pair the devices again. Not ideal if you need to locate your keys when you need to do this. I also prefer not to have my Bluetooth on all the time as I find it drains the battery.
All in all I do like this product and it has come in handy on so many occasions and I can see myself relying on it in the future, especially as Ailsa gets older and decides to hide my keys on purpose.
