8 Months old- how did that happen. This year has gone so quickly and you are turning from a squidgy newborn into a little girl in front of us. Gone are the days where I could leave you on our bed happily with your toys whilst I had a quick shower and you would smile at me whilst I washed my hair, now its a mission of military precision to jump in and out of the shower before you crawl off the bed. No accidents so far thank goodness. You are developing such a cheeky wee personality and it is one that Daddy and I just love. You just have the most magnificent smile and can cheer us both up in an instant. Your giggle is finally coming out now. You have always been a smiley baby but were never one to laugh well we finally figured out a way to make you giggle and laugh so hard.
You are thoroughly enjoying your food now. Toast seems to be your favourite and you could just munch on it all day if we let you. We are letting you try lots of yummy new food and you love munching on a bit of broccoli. You are fiercely independent and love feeding yourself. You love Baby Sign class and you signed your first word for milk. You loved your certificate so much you wanted to eat it.
You are still such a commando crawler and can get across the living room super fast. We don't think you will end up crawling on your hands and knees as you can get about just as you are. You love to stand on your feet now and can take your weight really well with minimum support. I don't think it will be long before you are trying to pull yourself up on furniture or trying to take steps. You will be running around before we know it.
We have such an exciting couple of months ahead of us with 2 weddings to go to and your first Christmas. We are so excited to share this special time of year with you and see the wonder in your eyes as you take it all in. I can't wait for you to meet Santa for the first time and for you to see the Christmas tree go up.
So many happy memories to come my little Poppet.
I love you Mummy xxxLabels: Ailsa
