A life update- where have the Lynch's been

Finally I am back to bloging. These past couple weeks have been anything but peachy and unfortunately the blog had to take a bit of a back seat whilst the Lynch family recovered from illness. Ailsa has had a cold for around 3 weeks now and a couple of weeks ago when we thought she was getting better we woke in the early hours of one Sunday morning with her temperature spiking at 39deg which being first time parents and not around any family was quite worrying for us. A trip to the out of hours GP and we were reassured that it was a virus which would pass which thankfully it has for the most part but we still have a snotty baby. I also picked up the virus and spent a good couple of days in bed feeling very ill and sorry for myself. Poor Ailsa had to make do with playing with some of her toys in our bed whilst I lay there in all my misery missing out on our usual baby classes.

We have been very lucky that last week we were able to head back to Scotland as the hubby is starting a new job and has a bit of time off in between jobs. This meant that I was able to go to my soon to be sister-in-law's hen party which is great as we can't go to their destination wedding in a couple week's time. It was also my first night out since having Ailsa and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We also managed to surprise my mother-in-law she was so so excited to see Ailsa and us of course. It is always great to be around family and we love coming home. It is also so great for James to spend some quality time with Ailsa too. It really is hard for him to go to work each day and miss out on spending the same quality time I get with her.

The next couple of weeks will be spent with James and Ailsa and sorting out the house in time for Christmas. I will be back in the bloging game and hopefully get up plenty of lovely posts for you lovely readers.
