I was always one to pamper myself before Ailsa came along. A nice long hot bath with a Lush Bath Bomb, a face mash, a hair mask and maybe a cheeky glass of wine. Now I'm luck enough to get a 5 minute shower in the morning and be able to blow dry my hair. Over the last 5 months I have managed to perfect the art of a quick pamper using products that work quickly for a pick me up when needed. Find out about my favourite products below.
I picked this up at the start of the year when I was heavily pregnant. My skin had completely dried out and I needed something to give me that boost of moisture. This mask is amazing, I pop it on before bed after cleansing and in the morning I wake up with silky smooth skin. It's also a product where a little goes a long way so it will last me for ages. I use this once or twice a week, sometimes more if my skin needs it. I'm sure this will come in super handy when the cold nights come round again.
I love this exfoliator. Gentle enough to be used daily and super quick to use. Just mix the rice based exfoliating powder with a little water to form a paste and massage into cleansed skin for a minute or so and you are left with super soft skin. Perfect to use before the Origins mask.
I have been using this mask for around 7/8 years now and I absolutely adore it. It is fantastic if your skin is feeling a little clogged up and spotty. At the moment I am using it around once a week to help keep my spots at bay and it leaves my skin looking fresh and clear. I tend to pop it on all over before I have my morning shower on a Saturday whilst I tidy up the bedroom or get my days clothes organised. Since I don't have as much time as I used too, it's great to multi-task. I also use the mask through the week specifically on any break outs to help draw out the spot and help get rid of it.
This is a new product to me but I am loving using it. It's a roll on eye cream which makes it really easy to apply and it is super cooling so great for waking up tired mummy eyes when you have had a bad night sleep. It also leaves a nice sheen to brighten up the eye area but not in a "in your face way". I love using this before make up but also on days when I am just staying in the house I will pop it on several times through out the day as nice treat as it just feels so amazing on the skin.
Lips are always the one area I tend to neglect when pampering myself, well not any more with my Lush lip scrub. I have the mint flavour and it smells amazing. It's a sugar scrub that I just rub into my lips once or twice a week to work off the dry skin and keep my lips baby soft for kissing my little ones face. I follow this up with a nice lip balm. I'm sure this scrub will come in super handy come winter when my lips normally get super dry and cracked.
